Ó Laganvale (Metal Technology) Band
Attention all brass players out there! We need more players in the band.  Help us - it is YOUR duty J !!

We are still looking for a number of players to join the band and have positions free in the front and back row cornets, baritone, trombone and bass sections.

Our rehearsals are never 100% full so please come down and "have a blow" with us to see if you like it.

And please do not be put off because we are a Championship section band over here; we are sure there are lots of up and coming players, and indeed many experienced players, who would enjoy the craic, the excellent band tution and the opportunity to play exciting, modern, interesting music.

So please "Come on Down" !!  (if you are interested and want more details, please click here).
& Looking to book the band for an engagement?  If so then please read on!  3

We are available for all types of functions, from park fêtes through to social clubs, and provide a range of entertaining music, including movie themes, pop music, classical, children's tv themes, big band, popular music, the oldies, and of course the traditional brass band march!

Please click here to contact the band about an engagement, click here to listen to some of the music we play, and finally click here to see our current list of engagements.

As mentioned before a member of the band is doing a sponsored climb of Mount Kilimanjaro - Mark Ruddock (that's me the WEB master so I can use this site to publicise it :-)).  It is for Action Cancer and you can sponsor me at www.justgiving.com/mark-ruddock.  I have organised a Charity Concert to help raise funds on Saturday 19th June 2010 in Glengormley Methodist Church, Ballyclare Road, Glengormley from 7.45pm to 10pm.  It will feature the band and two guests singers, Karen Marsden and Ken MaFarland.  So please come along if you can to help support this fine cause.  Tickets are available from myself on 07962 169394.  There is a poster advertising the concert here and if you can please place it in your band hall or any outlet you can think of to help promote the concert.  I would love to get 200 people at it which would raise £1000 for Action Cancer.  Please note 100% of all sponsorship received and all proceeds from the concert will go to Action Cancer.
