Laganvale (Metal Technology) Band

I began my association with Laganvale Band as a child "groupie" thanks to my dad's influence - Brian Grier, a former euphonium player with the band. After much persistence he finally got me a cornet and taught me to play.

I joined the junior band (then known as Laganvale Concert Brass) in 1986 playing 3rd cornet and worked my way up finally moving into the senior band in 1990.

I played flugel horn for a number of years with the band before a leave of absence.

Following this I returned to playing the cornet and am currently playing repiano cornet with the band.
