Some reminders:

1/ Tickets for our 100th Anniversary Concert (see events) will soon be available from Sally McAllister with tickets priced at £10 for adults, and £7.50 for concession and children under 16 years of age. You can also request tickets via this web site (will need to send in cheque for price plus p&p).

2/ Our recent CD - In Perfect Peace - is still available for purchase from Band members and at engagements for £12 (and can be ordered from this web site plus p&p of £2). You can also purchase our current CD plus the last CD for a combined price of £15 so you can double the listening pleasure!

3/ We are still looking for new players to join the band as we have a number of positions to fill, especially in cornet, euphonium/baritone and trombone.

Congratulations once again to Dessie Neill who won the A Solos on Saturday in the BBL Solos Championship. This is the twelve win for Dessie which is an amazing feat (especially considering his age [little joke there from the WEB master!]) and once again demonstrates why he is the best in the country. Also congratulations to Mark Bingham who was 2nd (and who also won the Slow Melody Section) and to Brian Connelly who was 3rd. And of course congratulations to the winners and runnerups in all the other sections on the day.

Our 100th Anniversary concert is now confirmed for Saturday 31st May 2008. It will be held in the Cambridge Suite at the Park Avenue hotel. The guest soloist is the world famous cornet player Alan Morrison and the guest choir is Belfast Operatic Company. More details on times and ticket prices will be forthcoming.
